Grateful for His faithfulness…

We know this has been a mostly different kind of year for all of us. We wanted to share our encouragement with you all. Please take a moment to read our most recent Newsletter here.

I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait on the Lord.

PSALM 27:13-14

Finally, brothers and sisters, REJOICE! Strive for full restoration, encouraging one another, be of one mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness

We originally intended to use this video during our visit to California this past December to help cast our vision for our ministry moving forward into 2020. We wanted to share it now in reflection of God’s favor and blessing. Please contact us for more detailed information.

April ’20 video update…

“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among the nations. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; let all the ends of the earth fear Him!”

Psalms 67:1-7

About Us

Early in our Christian walk, God planted a global vision on our hearts for missions. Over the course of the past several years, that seed has been watered through different short-term trips abroad, including Haiti, Chile, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, and Fiji.  As a result of each of these trips and through very definitive and unique experiences, a desire to make international ministry our family’s pursuit came forth. After much prayer and consultation, we are confident this is God’s calling for our lives. Therefore in obedience, we as a family have accepted the commitment with Students International ( to minister in the community of Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Our God is truly amazing!

Students International is “Bringing students and the poor together cross-culturally to encounter God, share the Good News, disciple and serve others in occupational ministries”. This is accomplished through Ministry Sites (occupational specific locations connecting with career, academic, or community driven interests).  Short-term participants will work alongside full-time missionary staff in the various sites. Dan will be located at the Young Men’s Social Work site, ministering to young men and teens equipping them with skills and vocational training along with sharing the love of Christ. Twyla will be involved with the Education site, teaching and loving on the children of the Los Higos area. The three boys (Tyler, Levi, and Luke) will be attending ACSI and AdvancED International accredited, college-preparatory, expeditionary learning Pre-K through 12th grade school.

We are so excited for what God has for our family in this life-defining venture and the experiences that await us. An endeavor of this enormity requires much provision and intercession. We would love for you to be a part of our adventure by joining our support team. We are seeking God’s provision by finding faithful partners to help fund His work through our ministry. Please unite with us in prayer and support.
